Punta Cana Safari Excursions

Ready to enjoy the adventure?

If you love breathtaking sceneries, you have to get on a Punta Cana safari tour. This is one of the most interesting tours you can take while visiting the Punta Cana region. There are countless excursions available to you at this charming location, but the safari is one that shouldn’t be missed. You won’t believe the natural surroundings that can be found beyond the busy resorts. If you want to experience the true essence of the Dominican Republic, you have to see it for yourself.

Punta Cana is much more than luxurious resorts and comfortable accommodations. Travel the countryside and be a witness of the Dominican life style in the rural areas. You will feel the warm of every person that welcomes you with their open heart. Understand the villagers' feelings and experience the craft that has taken so many years for them to master first hand. Take a glimpse at their cultivation methods and taste the mouthwatering fruits grown in their fields.

Where does the Punta Cana Safari tour go?

Countryside of Punta CanaThe traveling route of the excursion may vary depending on the tour company. Typically, the Punta Cana safari trip goes through several areas such as the villages nearby on the countryside and the lower parts of the Cordillera Oriental mountain range.

A very important part of the trip consists in visiting a school in the rural area, where you can spend time with the children. If you wish you can bring some materials such as pencils, notebooks, crayons and other school supplies.

Some of the tours make a stop at a local home to meet a traditional Dominican family. In there, you will see how they live, work and have a great time while enjoying the gift of living very close to nature.

If you have ever been curious about how they grow their crops, you will have the chance of visiting the rice and sugar plantations.

Observe very carefully the process of producing high quality coffee beans, tobacco and cocoa as it will clarify any curiosity you might have about the proper cultivation of these plants.

I almost forgot to mention the always popular mamajuana. If you are wondering how this drink is created, you are going to find out as you will be explained the actual process of making it, of course, you can take advantage of the situation and buy a few bottles to give it a try or you can simply use them as gifts.

If you think that’s all the Punta Cana safari tour has to offer, think again.

Macao beach You are going to be visiting some of the Punta Cana’s most secluded beaches as well.

These beaches are in their most natural state as they don’t have resorts near them. You can witness the dazzling sunset while taking a refreshing swim in one of these astounding beaches. In addition, you can explore the nearby coral reefs full of tropical marine life and have an exquisite grilled lobster as you feel the Caribbean breeze.
