1 medium papaya (called lechoza in Spanish) chopped - peel and
prior to use
½ cup fresh coconut milk
1 cup milk (regular milk or potato milk)
1 banana (peeled and chopped)
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 teaspoon of fresh lime juice
½ teaspoon turbinado sugar
2 teaspoons of lime zest
2 cups of crushed ice
¼ cup of blueberries
1 cup of chopped strawberries
⅓ cup pure honey
Mix all of the ingredients together in a blender.
Pulse slowly until all the ingredients are well combined.
Check that the batida de lechoza (papaya milkshake) is creamy and smooth.
You could decorate it with mint leaves and a thin slice of fresh papaya.
