Papaya Recipe - Milkshake

The flavors of the tropics are vibrantly displayed with a deliciously, colorful Caribbean papaya recipe milkshake. What could possibly be more reminiscent of a sunny day on Punta Cana than a refreshing beverage that combines papaya with an assortment of other tropical fruits?

Fresh coconut milk; bananas and just a hint of tart lime are paired with the sweet and savory flavors of a ripe papaya.

You can use the fruit in dozens of recipes whenever you want a Dominican flavor, vivid color and exotic taste. Papaya is, of course, a fruit that grows in warm, tropical climates like in the Dominican Republic, other Caribbean islands, Central America, South America, Africa, India and some more countries. You can also use the nutritionally rich papaya to soothe your stomach and as a way to add antioxidants and vitamins to your meals.

One of the best features of this (batida) milkshake recipe is the fact that it can be changed in different ways. You can add fresh grated coconut or spice up the flavors with cinnamon, nutmeg or ginger.
