Punta Cana Resorts: Which one to choose for your vacation

There are so many Punta Cana resorts to choose from as you can find something you like in most of them. In order to enjoy your vacation many factors have to be considered.

I have to admit that before having a vacation in Punta Cana DR, I was skeptical of how the area would actually be.

Many people recommended it, so I decided to give it a try. I’m so glad that I did; in there I spent some of my best all inclusive vacations ever. The staff at the Punta Cana resorts really knows how to pamper their guests. All the food you can eat is always great and the service is pretty impressive, of course tipping makes everything even better.

The beaches are indeed the most attractive ones in the whole world. A few of their photos will show you how breathtaking they look. The soft and calming breeze, the never ending sunshine, the music, and the warm welcome of the locals are also part of the charm of this wonderful place.

There are many factors to consider when booking a vacation at one of the top Caribbean resorts.

The hotel where you will be staying plays a major role in determining how great the vacation can be.

Punta Cana resorts have a wide number of services, accommodations and activities, like playing tennis, which can satisfy the pickiest guest.

When choosing a resort is important that you remember a couple of things.

First take a quick look at the map of the Punta Cana region and determine how close you are going to be from other areas of the Dominican Republic you want to visit, in case you want to do some exploring.

Other factors to take into consideration are: the quality and variety of the food, the array of activities that can be done, the proximity to the Punta Cana airport, how far from the beach is, overall service, etc. The purpose of this page is to help you make the right decision when you choose how to the spend time vacationing there. The resorts around are plentiful and they can differ from one another a lot.

The Punta Cana hotels, like all the hotels around the world, have a ranking associated with them which determines how good the place is. The rankings are assigned by the Dominican tourist board. The rankings oscillate mostly from 3 stars to 5 star hotels, as you can imagine the prices change from economic to more luxurious. A few hotels are still outdated, while others keep evolving and even adding in some of the buildings elements of the futuristic architectural design.

The ranking is obtained when comparing services in the area, how comfortable the rooms are, the quality of the food, day time and night time options and overall conditions of the facilities. The higher number of stars means the better the resort is.

Many 3 stars hotels offer pretty decent accommodations for a very low price, which is perfect if you are in a tight budget.

Don’t believe that just because a hotel is ranked as a 3 star the service won’t be decent, they still put a lot of effort to make you feel like a king or queen. Also looking if the hotel is all inclusive or not is very important. Staying at any of the all inclusive Punta Cana resorts could help you save a lot of money, even if at first glance seem more expensive than a cheaper one that is not all inclusive.

Pay close attention if the resort is adult only or if children are allowed. Some hotels cater to an 18 and above audience so if you are planning a family trip this is something to consider.

The 5 star resorts in Punta Cana are the crème of the crème, the atmosphere and the breathtaking services like the room service and spa treatments, among others, is something to look forward to. If you can afford a 5 star hotel in Punta Cana it certainly won’t disappoint you.Punta Cana resorts - around the beach
