Punta Cana

Which Punta Cana resort?

by Courtney
(Ohio)

Hi!

My friends and I are looking for an all inclusive resort in Punta Cana. We are high school seniors so we want a place with lots of fun, like clubs and parties. Also we need it to be as cheap as possible. My parents told me that Punta Cana is not very safe and if we went there we would have to stay at the resort. Is this true? Or is it safe to go to other resorts or clubs at night? Thanks!

Hello Courtney:

Since safety is a big issue for this trip that you are planning, you can spend your vacation in a resort that has a nearby disco.

For example you can stay at one of the Riu resorts, in which you will be close to the Pacha night club. You can also consider the Caribe Club Princess, it has the Areito disco at a walking distance within the same resort complex, which is very safe.

At night time is important that you stay around the complex you are staying at or in the club if you wish, not outside. During the day you and your friends can participate in excursions with a tour guide and the rest of the group.
