Tourist Card in Punta Cana

by Tara
(Canada)

What is a tourist card and where do you get one to enter the Dominican Republic?

Answer:

Hi Tara:

The tourist card (or in Spanish - tarjeta de turista) is a "pass" required to enter the country without the need of a visa.

Once you arrive to the Punta Cana International Airport you can purchase the tourist card there for 10 USD. You can also get the card at the Dominican Embassy of your country.
