Tipping the maids in Punta Cana

Mostly the maids prefer money because of the economic situation and it helps in supporting the income to maintain their families.

In my opinion, when traveling to the Dominican Republic, if you really wish to give them small gifts do it but it would be even nicer if you include some money.
