The Sunscape the beach Punta Cana Hotel (now the Dreams Punta Cana Resort & Spa) is a resort with plenty of features that will leave you breathless. Families and couples alike can experience the resort.

This middle sized resort got about everything you could want. This resort is 5 stars, so you can expect for the rooms to look neat and for the staff to provide excellent service.

The rooms at the Dreams Punta Cana Resort are provided with air conditioning, a mini bar that is restocked daily, a satellite television, coffee maker, some have a balcony or terrace, telephones, hair dryer, safe box, a king size bed or 2 doubles. There are honeymoon guest rooms, as well the deluxe rooms, the premium deluxe and the preferred club deluxe and premium rooms that have Jacuzzi on the balcony.

There is also bottled water in every room and 24 hours room service. There is a wide variety of room types for all tastes. The rooms are very bright and nice. The bathrooms are full equipped and the rooms are quite big with an astonishing looking furniture.

The place has one huge pool, really breathtaking not only for that; it is actually decorated with small islands. This pool is connected to a river that goes to the center of the place and the stunning bar inside the pool. Also, don’t forget the service bar near the beach and pool. Like most pools, around it has a low deep area then slowly increases. The kids have a separate section where they can have all the fun they wish. The beach is phenomenal, (well, all the beaches in Punta Cana are amazing), but depending on where you are staying it might require a long walk; make sure to request a room near the beach area to avoid unexpected marathons.

Remember that waking up early in the morning will get you a chair near the beach for sure.

Finding food at the Dreams Punta Cana Resort is no problem at all. There is the always essential World Cafe buffet, also the la carte restaurants: Oceana (Sea food), El Patio (Mexican), Himitsu (Asian, kids must be the age of 6 or older), Portofino (Italian, only for adults) and Seaside Grill (Grilled foods). No need of making reservation to eat in any of these magnificent restaurants and no need to be in formal clothing, to eat casual dressing is enough to be comfortable in the restaurants. Except for the Himitsu, El Patio and Portofino, in which you have to be casual elegant - no flip flops, long pants for men.

There is a chance that you will find the SeaSide grill restaurant to be your favorite; grilled steaks, burgers and appetizer salad are part of the menu which is great for the beach food lovers.

There are plenty of things to do at the Dreams Punta Cana Resort, like: playing beach volleyball, tennis, jogging trail, archery, and biking. Also the catamarans, snorkeling, cooking classes and windsurfing are an incredible way to enjoy the beauty of Punta Cana. For kids there are 2 kids clubs with a water slide and a pirate ship. This places are for ages from 3 to 12. There is also a teen club with supervision for ages 13 to 17. For night activities there is the nice nightclub, open from 11 pm to 2 am and the exciting casino nearby, that opens from 4 pm to 3 am. The place delivers great food and mild fun.
