Have fun at the Riu Bambu Resort

The Riu Bambu Punta Cana resort is known to be one of the most fun ones in Punta Cana. This is a 4 star resort that, while it doesn’t have that many luxuries, it does provide a fair share of fun activities. This resort consist of 560 guest rooms , one story building , the whole complex covered in an immense mesh of tropical vegetation give the area a very refreshing touch. This all inclusive resort is more oriented toward families and kids than to romantic couples. Also, this resort is famous for it’s night time activities and potential fun that you can have. As part of the Riu complex you can use certain services common to all the Riu except the palace ones. For it’s price is one of the best resorts you could get if fun is what you are looking for here; if it’s quiet time what you want, then this resort is not for you.

Rooms

The accommodations at the Riu Bambu Punta Cana includes: 2 double beds, ceiling fan, telephone, liquid dispenser, mini bar, satellite TV, In room safe, balcony, central a/c. The suites posses a living room as an extra feature. The rooms are clean and the staff make sure it’s kept that way. The humid environment of this area contributes that the rooms smell a little musty when you open it for the first time. You can either get used to it or get one of those spray ‘s that make the room smell good. Also a couple of comfy wooden chairs and well crafted lamps complement the outline of the rooms very well.

Pool and Beaches 

The pool at the Riu Bambu Punta Cana resort, even when is not that big, has stairs that are well beautifully designed. The bar in the pool fits incredibly well the magnificent dome like structure made of marble, which I find to be one of the finest details in any pool in Punta Cana.

Many kids and adults love to hang around it instead of the beach, reason why it gets crowded so fast. To get a nice place near the pool you know the drill getting up before 8:00 am and reserve the chair with a towel. The beach in front of the Riu Bambu Punta Cana is the Arena Gorda beach which is common for all the Riu complex hotels. That beach got so many palms and "palapas" it gives an incredible good look over many beaches. The wonderfully transparent and turquoise waters on this beach can make anyone want to stay here for a long time. Don’t forget to reserve chairs here, very similar like in the pool in order enjoy the day here.

Food

 The cuisine in this resort is very similar to the other Riu resorts. The main buffet have a nice selection even though the quality of the food is not as great as in other resorts. Is similar to the other Riu, because you will spend your meals of the buffet in the same table. For the a la carte restaurants you will find the Mediterranean and the steakhouse which will offer a little variety from the main buffet at dinner. Don’t forget to make reservations early in the morning for this restaurants and to wear more formal clothes when dining at them.

Entertainment

 In this resort you will find plenty of things to do during day or night. The staff really   makes a great effort in providing entertainment for the people. There are many sports that can be done here like : Tennis, volleyball, water polo, windsurfing, kayak, body board, snorkeling, introductory scuba diving lesson, 18 golf course (extra fee). Other benefits of this resort include : sauna, Gym, Jacuzzi, complementary entrance to the casino of the Riu palace Macao and the Pacha nightclub. Also they have their children entertainment program of ages (4 to 12) and the daily shows for the adults. How can I forget the unlimited drinks in the Riu complex area (with the exception of the Riu Palace Macao, the Riu Palace and the drinks in the Pacha nightclub).
