Punta Cana International Airport

What to expect once you arrive

The Punta Cana International Airport is located in the eastern region of the Dominican Republic. The airport was built in a traditional Dominican style with open-air terminals, as you can see, it has the roofs covered in palm fronds.

That design gives the visitors a strong feel of the Caribbean taste. This airport has become the busiest in the whole Dominican Republic, because it receives an increasing quantity of visitors yearly. There are actually more than 50 airlines that fly to the Punta Cana Airport.

That is the main reason for the need of an expansion for bigger aircrafts and the opening of new routes to the other side of the world.
