The next couple of beaches are very close to Punta Cana so they can be considered part of it as well:

  • Playa Bavaro (Bavaro Beach):

Bavaro Beach is very close to the north of Punta Cana, the resort area has this long beautiful beach with white sand. Even though Bavaro Beach is not considered part of Punta Cana beach, the general area is one white strip of sparkling white sand that extends 30 miles along the coast in a marvelous display of nature’s wonders.

Tips for choosing a beach tote bag for the beach.

Bavaro Beach is home to the Barcelo Bavaro Beach which is one of five hotels forming the Barcelo Bavaro Beach Resort, which is situated on Bavaro Beach in the Punta Cana region, in the Eastern part of the Dominican Republic. This beautiful beach is protected by a coral reef, forming a natural swimming pool with turquoise-colored water, which reveals a wonderful aquatic world beneath its surface. There many resorts around this popular beach.

  • Minitas Beach is in Casa de Campo resort in La Romana. This private beach belongs to  this very exclusive and breathtaking Casa de Campo resort. A very wide array of water activities can be done in this fine and remarkable paradise beach. Also never forget to try their famous piņa colada served in huge pineapple.

This next 2 beaches are something different because they are located on small islands very close to Punta Cana

  • The first one is the beach in Isla Catalina even though is a very small island (only 6 square miles) it has many amazing features like: The best coral reef in the area (perfect for scuba diving), some sand dunes and very interesting mangrove swamp. A great amount of tourists come to this area to have a nice time of relaxation.

  • The other one is the beach in Isla SaSaona islandona.

This island is inside the Parque Nacional del Este, this island is located very near the southeast part of the Dominican Republic. In fact, this small island was named one of the Caribbean's Eight Dream Beaches by Caribbean Travel & Life magazine

Snow white beaches, sky reaching palms and turquoise water  make this one of the Dominican Republic's most enchanted destinations.

The Punta Cana beaches are definitely something else, they have all the conditions necessary to make a great vacation. The weather is always nice there and seldom it rains. If you combine that with crystal clear waters, awesomely white sand and very nice welcoming people you will surely get the vacation of a lifetime.
