The resort features hundreds of huge spaced suites, spa, 7 restaurants, a fully equipped area for kids to have fun and the very exclusive reserve service. The resort has something for every family member and for couples that want to have a great time.

Rooms

You can find a total of 554 suites at the Paradisus Palma Real Punta Cana. Among them you can find 102 royal service suites and 2 oceanfront royal service presidential suits. All of them are incredible spacious and are spread in 3 story villas. The general amenities for all the rooms include: LCD TV, DVD player, iron with ironing board, safety box, mini bar with sodas, water and beer, ceiling fan, 24 hr room service, air conditioning, balcony, whirlpool for 2, marble floor, furniture made of mahogany and living area with sofa bed.

The suite types that you can find at this elegant resort include but are not limited: the deluxe garden view suites (520 sq ft), the regal partial ocean view suite with whirlpool (520 sq ft), the imperial romance ocean view jacuzzi suites (520 sq ft), the luxury junior suites (560 sq ft), one and two bedroom master suites with jacuzzi (815 sq ft and 1375 sq ft respectively). It also has royal service deluxe garden view suites (560 sq ft), royal service regal ocean view jacuzzi suites (560 sq ft), royal service imperial romance ocean front jacuzzi suites (520 sq ft) and royal service presidential suites (1670 sq ft).

All royal service rooms (restricted to those 18 years old and above) enjoy the following additional features: butler service, personalized whirlpool set up, access to a private pool and private beach, exclusive room service menu, newspaper delivery, pillow menu, turndown service and access to the Gabi beach restaurant.

There is also an additional area at the resort known as the reserve. The area consists of 184 residential concierge suites including: 80 family concierge suites, 32 private garden suites, 28 staggering Swim-up suites and 2 astounding luxurious presidential suites. The special features included for all the guests at the Paradisus Palma Real Punta Cana reserve are: high speed internet in all rooms, 3 extra a la carte restaurants: Aqua (Mediterranean cuisine), Mizu (Asian specialties with teppanyaki shows) and Gabi club. VIP check in, private beach area with concierge service, children swimming pool, toddler pool, main swimming pool, impressive 7800 sq ft area for kids to have fun and the bars (H2O and Gabi).

Pool and Beach

There are several well maintained pools at the Paradisus Palma Real Punta Cana. There is the main swimming pool which is incredibly big with plenty of space for people to chill out; the royal service pool beautifully decorated with several sculptures, the reserve pool which is simply amazing and 2 pools for children in the reserve area. Near the pools you can also find plenty of well shaded palapas to rest while you get your favorite drink. The service at the pools is pretty great and the waiters are very attentive to the guests needs. In the royal service area you can reserve (by making a request to your butler) a wonderful comfy bed at the poolside with your name on it.

The beach at the resort has a huge amount of shaded chairs that are rarely taken which means no need of getting up at sunrise just to reserve a spot at the beach. The sand is very clean and soft; perfect for a relaxing day.

Food

The Paradisus Palma Real Punta Cana has a wide variety of fine restaurants designed to please its visitors. First you have to take a look at the buffets. The Naos is a buffet that specializes in international cuisine. The other buffet is the market grill which has a fantastic menu of BBQ foods and other delicious items. The smoothies and the fruit at breakfast are fresh and delicious. Lunch consists mostly of hot dogs, hamburgers and chicken but if you are not a meat eater there many different types of salad you can try as well.

The Agave is another great restaurant offering delicious Mexican meals to satisfy your palate. All the main meals of the day are offered in the buffets while some of the other restaurants only provide lunch or dinner.

The a la carte restaurants in the Paradisus Palma Real Punta Cana are also decent ones. The Bana restaurant is where Asian dishes go to a whole different level. Passion is the right place to eat if you want a romantic environment. If you like international Mediterranean dishes they prepare are something you must experience. Gabi beach is an elegant restaurant where you can enjoy great drinks and tasty meals in a beach atmosphere (if you like steaks and lobster it is the place for you). Gabi beach is included for all royal service guests; other guests have to pay an extra fee to eat there.

There is another group of restaurants that are available only to the guests of the reserve area. They are the Aqua (excellent Mediterranean and international food), Mizu (great teppanyaki selections like salmon), Gabi Club (specialties) and the Hydro Grill (an impressive menu of grilled snacks). Remember to follow the appropriate dress code when eating at any of the restaurants (do not wear bathing suits at any of the restaurants).

Entertainment

You can have a lot of fun at the Paradisus Palma Real Punta Cana. Good drinks are a pretty important part for any vacation; that’s why the resort has 9 bars ready to quench your thirst. If you love the internet there is free Wifi for all its guests, the casino is right there for all guests that enjoy the gambling excitement, if you like doing activities you can take full advantage of all the resort has to offer like night shows featuring: fire dancers and Michael Jackson shows, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, 5 tennis courts, salsa and merengue dance lessons, painting, wine tasting, massage lessons and more.

Children will also have the time of their life at the kids zone with its own mini water park and various games. For an extra fee you can also enjoy several other exciting activities like: horseback riding, scuba diving, golfing at Cocotal Golf and Country Club and full service YHI spa. Excursions like the ones to Saona island and the extreme buggy tour are available for those that want a higher degree of adventure in their vacation.
