Our 10-year Anniversary vacation- Occidental Grand Flamenco

Overall, the resort had its pros and cons about it; the room was so-so but we really didn't mind since we mainly just slept there. The resort was fairly sized, family friendly and most of the staff we encountered was wonderful.

Wilson, at the Lobby bar was awesome the whole week we were there! You tip (anyone) well, you get great service!!

The pool was very clean and well-maintained. We had a longer walk to the beach as our building was closer to the lobby area.

The only thing I could say is that we wished there were another place to get towels beside the beach area (one closer to the pool would've been nice).

We only went to 3 of the sit-down restaurants; you could only make reservations between 8 am- 12nn and the line gets long and most fill up early.

Our trip was cheap due to a promotional feature of having to attend a presentation for the vacation club but was not too bad since it was more of a soft-sell. It took no more than 2 hours and we were free to do whatever for the rest of our stay.

We didn't do any excursions outside the hotel on this trip as we just wanted to relax. The food overall was pretty good. If you don't set your expectations too high, you won't be disappointed. We will certainly be back.
