Getting Around Punta Cana

important spots that you can see at the map of Punta Cana is the
International airport. This airport is where the majority of
the
visitors to this area come from although there are some people that
arrive to La Romana or Santo Domingo first; then proceed to the area of
Punta Cana. The International Airport is very close from
most hotels and resorts as it can only take a couple of minutes to
reach almost every one of them. If you go to Punta Cana from La Romana
it might take 2 hours or to Santo Domingo which could take
approximately 4 hours by car; keep that in mind to maximize your
vacation time.
Getting around with a map of Punta Cana is not
that hard; you just have to be aware of all the different services that
can simplify your transportation needs. Renting a car is a great
alternative if you love exploring and don’t have any time constraints.
Remember you have to familiarize with the traffic laws and the way
people drive before attempting it; while is great for seasoned
travelers, first timers will probably have a hard time. Taxis are a
great way to get around but you have to choose the regular ones if you
want to save more money; the tourist cabs are way easier to find but
can be pricey. Other choices you may have for traveling around
include shuttle services and Domestic flights. Shuttles are great if
you are an excursion lover and Domestic flights are recommended if you
have a good budget and are traveling between cities that are several
hours away by car.
