Punta Cana is located at the southeast coast in the Dominican Republic. The country is situated in the Caribbean Sea and it shares the territory with Haiti.
The whole island is called the Hispaniola, called La EspaƱola in Spanish. The Hispaniola forms part of the Greater Antilles between Cuba and Puerto Rico.
