The Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort is 4 star resort which offers many interesting features. The all inclusive resort is somewhat big with an amount of 451 rooms.

It is also located at 25 miles from the Punta Cana airport. The Grand Palladium is a sister property of the Grand Palladium Palace and they share some of the facilities.

This resort seems more oriented toward couples, families and in a lesser way to the singles. Even if the place doesn’t have a wild nightlife precisely a lot of fun can still be found.

For walking around the resort sometimes is better to walk than wait for the trolley which can take even more time to show up than the time it takes to get to the desired place. The overall service is good of course the greater the tip the better it will be.

The rooms at the Grand Palladium Punta Cana resort are usually spotless and well organized courtesy of the maid. The coffee tables and small lamps give the place a nice touch. The maids usually keep some fresh flowers and fruit in the room but in order to keep the stuff fresh is necessary to leave a tip otherwise they won’t be very cooperative. The musty smell as usual can be taken care with a deodorizer which is another needed item for vacationing there.

Pool and Beach

One of the main attractions of this resort is the pools they have which are very good. It has 2 big pools with a few swim-up bars. There are a lot of chairs and umbrellas around the pool which offers some nice shade. The water in the pool is quite refreshing and warm at the same time. Some people find it too warm and others too cold but the reality is that the pool temperature is appropriate for the people staying at the resort.

As usual getting up early in the morning is a requirement to get a decent spot but depending on your taste you might like to trade with the beach.

The Bavaro beach is indeed a marvel of nature. Most people will agree that the main part of the Palladium resort is the unbelievable beauty of its beach. The pearly white sand combined with the luminous water is known to be the greatest asset in Punta Cana. Depending on the time of the year you could find the sea a little rough. There are couple of bars in the beach and a quite nice amount of shade around the area.

Food

What vacation would be good without a good meal to back it up? Since the Grand Palladium Punta Cana resort combine some its amenities with the Grand Palladium Palace you could say the total of places to eat are indeed something else. The great amount of 3 buffets with international cooking, 3 more in the beach to enjoying nice lunches and 5 of the most exquisite international a la carte restaurants. The a la carte restaurants including the Arrecife where they serve seafood and generally international cuisine, the Bambu (Asian food), the Mare Nostrum (Italian cuisine), The Gran Cantina (Mexican meals) and Don Quijote (Spanish cuisine).

Normally the a la carte restaurants are only open for dinner at around 7 to 10 pm. The breakfast and lunches are eaten in the buffets and snack bars near the beach. Overall the taste of the food is great in all the restaurants at the Grand Palladium Punta Cana even when in some cases there are some cold foods and not very well cooked meats but that could be easily be solved by asking for another plate. Remember making reservations for the a la carte restaurants as early as you can and the usual dressing code for them.

Entertainment

There is plenty to do in this wonderful resort and chances are that at the Grand Palladium Punta Cana you won’t have enough time to do all. The water sports are among the most popular activities to do like:

tennis

You can find 2 theaters in here where the animators will perform several shows and involve the audience in them. The Michael Jackson show is one of their specialties as they perform it very well. You can always go the casino for night of opportunity and excitement or dance in the disco at the rhythm of the DJ’s wild music.
