Golf Course Outlook

The Catalonia Cabeza de Toro Golf Club is simply breathtaking. This course opened in the year 2000 and was designed by Alberto Sola. It is outlined in such a way that many golf courses pale in comparison. The several palm trees and beautiful green landscape in the course mixed with 5 astonishing lakes is something to admire. The golf course is not very big, however, is challenging enough so that amateurs can have an amazing time. It is also the ideal place for beginners to develop their skills until their ready for the really hard courses; the more experienced players can play for a while as well.

The length of the golf course is approximately 2600 yards featuring 9 holes and 35 par of pure excitement. One of the main benefits for playing in this course is the tropical scenery that can be enjoyed while you hone your golfing techniques.

As you know enjoying the golf courses in Punta Cana involve an extra fee; fortunately you can have a 1 hour free lesson to get you started on the right foot. The green fee per person in the Catalonia Cabeza de Toro Golf Club is $45.00. The cart fee for 2 people is $40.00 and for one person is $25.00; as you see golfing with a partner can make a significant difference in the price. Most golf enthusiasts travel with their own clubs however you can rent the clubs at the course if you wish to do so for approximately $10.00. The facilities in the club also include lockers, putting green, driving range and pro shop. The course is open from 7:00 am to 6:30 pm. The first tee time starts at 7 am and the last one starts at 4 pm. Keep in mind that if you want to play with few people around the best time to go is from 12:30 pm to 2 pm.
