The Catalonia Bavaro Resort is an amazing place full of lush vegetation filled with tall palm trees and located marvelously in the perfect spot with white sand. This 5 star hotel posses wonderful decorations beautifully made of bamboo and rattan.

The resort consists of 704 junior suites, 6 suites and 1 presidential suite. Seven restaurants provide a wide variety of international cuisine. One buffet and various bars ready to serve your favorite drinks.

One big pool to enjoy several fun activities. The resort also has kids playing area and their own mini disco. This resort also offers group golf classes as part of their all inclusive plan. This resort can be enjoyed by all types of people but families will find it way more appropriate for their needs.

The Catalonia Bavaro Resort has a total of 711 rooms. There are the junior suites, suites and the presidential suite. Junior suites will have a king size bed or 2 twin beds, living room area, bathroom with a very nice bathtub and a separated shower and a beautiful balcony or you can have a terrace with a hammock and a rocking chair which makes the rooms very comfortable. The suites will have king size bed, a Jacuzzi and a balcony with a hammock.

The presidential suite will have 3 bathrooms, a living room area, a king size bed, a Jacuzzi in the main room, a meeting room, an additional room and a balcony with hammock. All of the rooms will have the following commodities: air condition, hair dryer, safe box, phone, satellite TV, a mini fridge that is stocked daily with (sodas, water and beers) and the bathrooms will have very big bathtub with a separate shower. You can ask for an extra bed if you need it. Free Wifi in the rooms is another benefit you will enjoy.

The beach area is astonishing and fantastic. Since the beach is located at the bottom of Punta Cana the area is quite private and you won’t see many people packed at one spot. The sand is incredibly soft and white. The waters are quite calm, clean, very little seaweed and you won’t see too many waves. You will find many areas with shade around the pool when you need them. The temperature of the pool is very warm and perfect for a nice relaxing time. The pool for children is perfect for them and is very close to a snack bar which is fantastic when the hunger strikes.

You can find several places to eat in the Catalonia Bavaro Resort. The a la carte restaurant called Bretonne offers excellent crepes which is perfect for a romantic meal. The asian a la carte restaurant Mikado is quite excellent too. The shrimp and the chicken are wonderfully tasty. The teppanyaki is awesome too. The Italian restaurant La Toscana is really good. The lobster is very delicious and the pasta is something you won’t forget.

All of the a la carte restaurants are open for dinner and casual elegant clothes are preferred for them. The Buffet Gran Caribe offer breakfast, lunch and dinner meals. The food from the buffet is good but you must get to it early otherwise the food will get cold and won’t be very tasty. The grilled fish and salmon along with all grilled meats are the right choice in this buffet. Steak house is great as usual and the beach restaurant have some nice pasta to order.

There are several things you can do in the Catalonia Bavaro Resort. You will find many water sports like: sailing, snorkeling, windsurf, Scuba diving lessons, kayak and catamaran. For a little extra charge you will enjoy an awesome ride in a banana boat and water ski. The hotel has an incredibly group of professionals that will keep you entertained during the whole day. Aerobics, bicycle tours, night shows with live music, fire breathing dancers, casino and a discotheque provide lots of fun for any taste.
