The Caribe Club Princess Beach Resort & Spa is a 4 stars all inclusive resort. It shares some of its facilities with the Tropical Princess.

The place has a friendly staff that does everything possible to please their guests. It also has a gorgeous tropical garden style. The area is kind of big, but don't worry it is very secure and free transportation is provided within the resort.

Rooms

Caribe Club Princess room
The Caribe Club offers 4 types of guestrooms. There is the Superior room - it has 2 double beds or a king size bed, the safe can be used for an extra charge. The Caribe suite also have 2 double beds or a king size bed, 2 telephones, coffee machine, ceiling fan, a living area, and the safe can be used without additional charge.

Another one is the Honeymoon suite, this one has a king size bed, a safe without extra charge, a fruit basket, and special services: 2 days of massages (20 min), a breakfast in the room, a romantic dinner, private dancing classes, a dinner in a non included restaurant, and a bottle of rum. And finally, the luxurious Royal suite with a king size bed, 2 floors, 2 bathrooms, 2 telephones, cable/satellite TV, the safe without charge, Jacuzzi, coffee machine and 24 hour room service.

All of the rooms include a balcony, bathroom, telephones, cable/satellite TV, air conditioner and safe box.

If you think the room maid has done a good job, tipping is a good way of showing your appreciation.

Pool and Beach

Pool at the Caribe Club Princess You will see an amazing pool, which the staff makes sure is in pristine condition. If you see a lot of people try to wake up early the next day to save a lounge chair. With the all the activities that take place at the pool is a perfect opportunity to make some new friends. By the way, while staying there, my family and me met some nice people.

The water at the beach has a beautiful light blue-green tone and the sand is fair ivory.

Food

The main buffet restaurant is called Higuero, where you can eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is also the snack bar with sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, chips, salads.

Food
In the included a la carte restaurants at the Caribe Club Princess Beach Resort you will have a diverse selection of places to eat: the Sombrero (Mexican), Mamma Mia (Italian), Shangay (Asian), and La Creperie (you may request vegetarian food). Other 2 not included restaurants are El Pescador (sea food) and La Cava (gourmet).

For the a la carte restaurants you must make reservations, and be dressed appropriately (men with closed shoes, shirts with sleeves). In the case that you want to stay in your room there is a decent menu for room service, but you will have to pay extra for that.

If you wish you can make restaurant reservations for the Tropical Princess Beach Resort & spa (situated at the side of the Caribe Club) and go to the bars there too.

The Caribe Club Princess offers 4 bars with an extensive variety of included drinks; the main one is the lobby bar, the Piscina bar, Higuero bar and La Matica.

Entertainment

At daytime, you can go swimming at the beautiful pool, exercise at the gym, play tennis, get your free diving lesson, and more. For additional charges you can go to the Metamorphosis spa, use the Internet, and practice motorized water sports. The children can play at a club from 4 to 12 years old and the teenagers have a club from 13 to 17 years at the Caribe Club Princess. You can also choose among the several tours available (with an extra cost) from your travel representative or check with the staff at the lobby. There are shows presented every night in the theater (not all of them are appropriate) and entertainment at the lobby. Another thing to do at night is going dancing to the Areito discotheque or going to the Princess Tower casino (transportation included).
